From Idea to Published Book - Without Doing It Alone.
The Problem
Writing a book is hard enough. But finishing one involves a lot more than writing:
- Who helps you validate that your structure and organization of the book is coherent?
- Who do you turn to when the manuscript isn’t working structurally?
- Who catches the typos, awkward sentences, and passive language before it goes to print?
- Who designs a cover that makes someone stop scrolling and pick up your book?
- Who guides you through the steps to get it uploaded and live on Amazon, formatted correctly?
Most authors end up hunting for a different freelancer for each step — hoping they all talk to each other, hoping nothing falls through the cracks between handoffs.
Full-service publishing means one expert is guiding the whole thing, start to finish, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Two Paths to a Finished Book
Every author starts in a different place. The full-service package adapts to where you are.
Path 1: You Want to Write It Yourself, With Support
Book Coaching → Editing → Design & Upload
You write the book, with me as your coach and accountability partner — outlining, working through structure, and providing developmental editing along the way. Once your manuscript is complete, I move into line editing and copyediting to polish it. Then I refer you to a trusted layout artist and cover designer and guide you through uploading to Amazon.
Path 2: You Want Me to Write It With You
Ghostwriting → Design & Upload
We plan, and then you talk; I write. Through recorded conversations, I capture your knowledge and turn it into a fully written, polished manuscript in your voice. From there, I refer you to a trusted layout artist and cover designer, and guide you through uploading to Amazon.
Not sure which path fits you? That’s exactly what the free brainstorming session is for.
What's Included
Regardless of which path you take, full-service means you get:
- One point of contact for the entire process — no juggling multiple freelancers or explaining your book five different times
- A finished, professionally edited manuscript — whether you wrote it or I did
- Hands-on coordination with your designer and layout artist — I don’t just hand off a referral and step away. I stay involved throughout the design and layout process, working directly with the designer and artist, reviewing proofs, and making sure everything meets professional standards — until you and I are both satisfied with the result.
- Hands-on guidance uploading to Amazon — so your book actually goes live, correctly formatted, without you having to figure out the platform alone
- A guide who’s been through this before — with authors across medicine, nursing business, memoirs, and spirituality books
How It Works
- Free Brainstorming Session — We talk through your book, your goals, and which path (book coaching or ghostwriting) fits you best.
- Writing Phase — Either you write with my coaching and developmental editing, or I ghostwrite from our conversations.
- Editing Phase — Line editing and copyediting to bring the manuscript to publication-ready quality.
- Design Phase — I coordinate your project with a trusted cover designer and layout artist to give your book a professional look, inside and out.
- Publishing Phase — I guide you through uploading your finished book to Amazon, so it’s live and available to readers.
- A Published Book — Yours, from first idea to finished product, with support at every step.
What Clients Say
"Getting Pat's approval on my book proposal truly made me believe I had a worthy book. Your family or friends are NOT the best evaluators of your book's worth. Pat's keen eye and thoughtful feedback gave me confidence and helped mold the book into something worthy of publication."
"In just three short sessions, we focused on the foundation and framework, title, subtitle, who my audience is, getting feedback on the title and subtitle, and mapping out the table of contents and story ideas. This process has been so motivating and inspirational, because I know this book is inside of me, but without Pat's guidance, I know it would not come to fruition."
